NOISE OR SPEED?
MAGISTRATE ON MOTOR-BIKES Mr A. M. Mowlcxn, S.M., is not an admirer of motor-cycles. At least he gave this impression during the hearing of a “speeding” charge yesterday afternoon. “How young men can ride such things, I don’t know,” declared His Worship. “If one can judge the speed at which a motor-cycle is travelling by the noise it makes, then I can only •ay that the must always be excessive.”
