The state of the parties, based on partial returns of the polling nt tho general election, is:— Zaghlulists 88 Liberals 10 Nationalists 3 Independents ' 5 Itteliadists 1 The first three parties constitute a bloc. The figures in 13 constituencies show that the coalitionists polled 63,000 votes against their opponents’ 1300. Xne one case Azmy Paslin, ex-Minister of War; and a prominent Ittehadist, mustered three votes against his opponents’ 6358. ZAGHLULILL (Sydney "Sun” Cable.) Zaghlul Pasha, on account of* illhealth, is not accepting the Prime Ministership. Adly Pasha may form the new Ministry. Ziwar Pasha adheres to his intention to remain until the inauguration of Parliament, where he will read the 'King’s Speech, defending the Cabinet’s action, and then resign. The present Government was appointed on November 24th, 19-4:, following the murder of Sir Lee Stack, the Sirdar. Zaghlul Pasha was then Prime Minister, his party haying been returned with a great majority at tbe elections in the previous January. Zaghlul, after agreeing to pay the indemnity of £500,000, resigned, and Ziwar Pasha took office. Shortly afterwards tho Parliament was dismissed.
