’BUS AND TRAM COLLIDE
THREE PERSONS INJURED
TROUBLE WITH BRAKES
Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, April 2D. At 8.35 this morning an Onehungti passenger ’bus collided with a tramcar at Broadway, Newmarket. The ’bu«, full of passengers, was behind ono tram, which stopped to allow school children to alight. Tho driver of the ’bus evidently had trouble with hio brakes, and the ’bus swerved in behind the first tram, and crashed into another which was hidden from tho driver’s view. The ’bus was badly damaged. Throe passengers were injured. but only one badly—G. L. Oun-r-on. who is in the hospital with a fracture of a small bom© of the leg.
