WAIRARAPA WEDDINGS

At Knox Church, Masterton, on Wednesday Miss Myrtle Gardner, of Wellington, and formerly of Masterton and Carterton, was married to Mr Colin Campbell, of Wellington. The bride, who was given away by Mr A. Donald, wore a pretty frock of hydrangea blue mariettc, with champagne crinoline straw hat, and carried a bouquet of hydrangeas and pink carnations. She was attended by Miss Jean Donald (Keatherston). in a frock of apricot mariette, with hat to tone, her bounuet being of autumn tints. Mr Frank Launder was best man. The reception was held at the residence of Mrs K. M. Baird, Cornwall street, where about 40 guests assembled to wish the young couple every happiness. The bride’s going away dress was an ensemble suit of fawn crepe de china with wine coloured coat and hat to match. The young couple left in the evening hv car for the south. The marriage was celebrated at the Carterton Methodist. Church on Wednesday afternoon of Miss Vera King, youngest daughter of Mr and Mrs D. T. King, and Mr Rupert Goodin, sou of the late Mr and Mrs E. Goodin, of Park road, Carterton. The bride was given away by her father, and attended by her sister Elsie, as bridesmaid. Mr Ngaire Goodin was best man, and tho Rev. R. P. Keall the officiating minister. After tho ceremony ft reception was held in the schoolroom, and tlfr young couple left later for tho south.
