CLUB DELEGATES MEET AFFAIRS OF MANAGEMENT OOSfr MITTEK. Mr Albert Wells presided at a gen* eral meeting of the Wellington Football Association lost night to elect m delegate in the place of Mr E. H. Edwards, who resigned. The nominees were Messrs C. Webster, E. Bidgood, A. Harding, and U. Salt. A ballot was taken, end resulted in the election of Mr Salt. A COMPLAINT Complaint was made as to th« conduct of players towards a resident by the Polo . Ground on last Saturday, following the kicking of a football over the fence into ilie garden. It was reported that the householder had been abused, and difficulty had been experienced in secure ing the return of the ball. Player* had in the past jumped orver the fenco end damaged the garden, and this was resented. The matter was referred to tho management committee. A meeting of the management committee followed t at which Air A. fc, Wells presided in the absence of Mr W. Duncan (chairman). The jeferee reported that Thistle team capie on the field seven minutes inte on Saturday in the came with Y.M.C.A. The secretary reported that tho Auckland Association was fining clubs £1 for being late. It was decided to write to the Thistle Club calling attention to the matter, and asking them to avoid this in future. It was agreed to accept the entry of Pctone senior B team for tho ChaL ham Cup upon the entry fee Being re-’ veived. This makes eight entries from Wellington for the Chatham Cup, the entries for which close with the X. on Saturday. The following transfers were grant od: —Hunter, Cordiner, and McVean, from Thistfe to Petone; G. Stnnbridge, Irom Waterside to Johnsonville; E. McCreadv, from Stop Out to Midland; L. Ryling, froqn Diamonds to South Wellington; Hutchings, from Waterside to Wadestown. An application was received for tho transfer of Paterson from Thistle to Petone, but there was no personal application, and it was reported that Paterson had been selected and would lie playing for Thistle on Saturday.— The application ruled out of order.
