WEDDING AT KHANDALLAH
The wedding was recently celebrated at tlie Khandallah Presbyterian Church, of Sadie, only daughter of Mrs M. S. Robins, of Ngaio, formerly of Dunedin, ,to George H. Wakelin, youngesi son of Mrs S. H. Gambling, of Auckland.
The» church was beautifully decorated by friends of the bride. The Rev. D. J. Shaw officiated at the ceremony, while Airs Jack rendered appropriate music.
The bride, who was escorated by her brother, looked charming in a simple frock of ivory French georgette, and silk lace, embroidered in crystal and silver beads, her long veil being arranged from a tullo cap and coronet of orange blossoms. A touch of colour was supplied by a shower bouquet of flowers and maidenhair.
The bridesmaids, Aliss F. H. Boat, of Dunedin, and Aliss H. Kitho, of Wellington, carried bouquets to tone with tlieir frocks. Miss Beal Wearing shot lavender tali eta, and Miss Kitto pale pink georgette and Parisian lace, both wearing black hats., A gold bracelet and a pearl necklet were the gifts of the bridegroom. Air G. G. Briggs acted as best man, and Alr J. Poulter as groomsman. At a reception held later in the Ngaio Town Hall, Airs Robins, who was assisted to leceivo the guests by Mr E. P. Wakelin. of Auckland, wore a fawn ensemble suit and largo black and white hat; her bouquet was of red roses and maidenhair.
Mr and Mrs Wakelin later left by motoi. the latte- wearing an ensemble suit of now brown with hat to tone, and giey fox fur, the gift of the bridegroom.
