A “farewell” was tendered to Mrs H. G. Williams, lady president of the Masterton Golf dub, at the club house on Saturday by the members, on the eve of her departure for a trip to England. Mr A. B. Lawrence on behalf of the members, presented Mrs Williams with a crocodile travelling handbag as a .token of esteem. Mr R. A. Lee, of the Ntaff of the Bank of Australasia, Masterton, has been transferred. to Temuka.
