ANGLICAN CHINESE MISSION

HARVEST THANKSGIVING SERVICE A harvest thanksgiving service was held in the Chinese Mission Church on Sunday evening, the church being beautifully and artistically decorated bv many willing helpers, ‘both English anil Chinese, under the supervision of Mrs Iv. H. Li Flowers, fruit, vegetables, and other produce were generously given by the Chinese, some lovely flowers being specially sent for the occasion from Palmerston North. A largo congregation assembled and the service was conducted by the Rev. E. Y. P. Lee. A special feature of the service was the singing of a duct by Mrs K. H. Li and Master Leo Chung, also a trio by three little Chinese girls. The offerings were given to the Anglican Boys’ Home, tho Levin Memorial Home, and St. Peter’s Mission, the grapes and oranges to tho sick folks in the hospital
