ANOTHER WRIT

FOR AMERICAN BARQUE Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, April 17. The American barque Guy C. Goss, has now three writs of arrest nailed to her mainmast. The first was placed there a week ago at the instance of the captain and crew for overdue wages; the second on Thursday, on account of the consignees of the timber cargo: and the third to-day, on account of harbour dues and other port expenses. Court proceedings are expected next week, and as several lawyers have been briefed, some interesting expositions of maritime law are antic* pated.
