HIS FIRST DRIVE
AND HE STRUCK TROUBLE! While a motor-car driven by a man who was undergoing a test as to his capabilities as a driver, was crossing Lambton quay fr.om Ballance street 'about noon yesterday, it was struck by a tram oar proceeding towards Lambton station.
The tramcar lost a portion of one of its steps, hut , tho motor-car Joet the near front wheel, and had to be towed from the scene of accident .to h repair shop. '
