PRESSURE ON DEPARTMENT. Once again the Wellington Automobile Club has had correspondence on the subject of level-crossings, one letter reiterating the grave danger nt McTCav’s crossing, near P.'mkoknriki, which has been the scene oF numerous‘accidents of late, and which, according to the writer of the letter, is likely to be responsible for still more unless something is dope to make it*n creat deal safer.
