LADIES’ CHAMPIONSHIP
Per Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, April 9. The ladies’ golf championship of Canterbury was won by Miss M. Beadel, the Christchurch Club’s champion, whose’round of 82 this merning placed her at the head of the championship list with an aggregate of 169. Mrs Godby was' leading on yesterday’s round with 85, but a 93 this morning put her out of the Tunning. The second place honours were secured by Miss (f Kay, whose 83 this morning made her total J. 70. Mrs J.' Cook was next with 172, her wund,this morning being 83. The junior medal m&tch was won by Miss A. Lawlor, whose 18 handicap gave her a net 73. Miss M. Newton, handicap 17, came s second with a net 74. The senior division was headed by Miss H. Loughnan with a net 74. The bogey four-ball was won by Miss D. Chrystall and Miss B. Cotterill. The tie in yesterday’s bogey match was won by Mrs N. Rattray.
