COMMERCIAL TRAVELLERS HONOUR MR ROBT- TELFORD “ESTEEM AND RESPECT OF THU COMMUNITY,” Hr Robert Telford, vioe-preeident of the Wellington Commercial Travellers’ Association, who in company'with Mrs Telford, is shortly leaving on a seven months’ business visit to End and, was yesterday afternoon tendered a presentation by his fellow commercial travellers. Mr E. A. Little, who presided over a large and representative attendance of members, in presenting Mr Telford with a travelling rug inscribed with his monogram, made glowing reference to the esteem and respect in which Mr Telford was held by all his fellow commercial travellers and by tbe business community generally. Messrs A. McKenzie, R. B. Grange, and H. W. Downs also testified to the esteem in which the departing vicepresident was held by all present. Mr Telford, who was enthusiastically cheered, made suitable response.
