LONDON WOOL SALES FINE FLEECE IN DEMAND. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Received M&Tch 11, 9.40 p.m.) LONDON, March 10. At the wool sales 11,213 bales were offered and about 9000 were sold. Good selections, where of fine kinds, met with good competition, with prices favouring sellers, but medium and inferior sorts were rather irregular. Among the medium scoured merinos withdrawals were frequent. DALGETY AND CO. Messrs Dalgety and Co., Limited, report having received the following cablegram from their London house, under date of the 9th instant:— “Wool sales opened active. Competi-, tion good; attendance of buyers is large. Good average selection merinos and medium crossbred. As compared with last sale’s closing rates, merinos and crossbreds unchanged; fine slipes, jd to Id lower; medium and coarse slipes, unchanged/' LONDON TALLOW SALES Messrs Dalgety and Company, Limited, report having received the following cablegram from their London house, under date of the 10th instant"B6o casks of tallow offered, 430 sold. Prices arc unchanged.” LONDON TALLOW MARKET Tho New Zealand Loan and Mercantile, Agoncy Co., Ltd., received the following advice from their London office, under date 10th instant:—"Tallow*.
