ALEXANDRA HOME
At the monthly meeting of the Alex* andra Home Committee, there were sent—Mesdames Cor kill (in the chair) J Cox, Kemp, Hempton, Hardwick Smith, Phillips Turner, and Watt. The matron reported that there were 25 adults and 18 infants in the home, and that there had been 18 confinements and 8 district cases had been attended. The committee acknowledge with thanks the following donationsMr Arthur Martin, JClO* Archbishop O'Shea, £3 3s; Mr I). J. Barry, St. Church, and Bev. Father Cullen, £2 fe each; Lady Stout, Mr G. Winder, atid D.1.C.. .£1 Is each; Mrs L. Stowe, Dr and Mrs Pattie, and Mr C. W. Smith, £1 each; Laery, Beveridge staff, end Mt 3 Hart, 3s 6d each. . Also tho following gifts:—Parcel of Clothing. Lady Wilson and Mrs Spilman; baby clothes, Mrs Coate and anonynous; baby’s singled, 0.K.; old linen, Miss Johnston; flowers, Mrs Adderley. The matron wishes to remind all subscribers to the home that the year ends in March.
