RIFLE SHOOTING
SUBURBS’ RIFLE CLUB AH members of the Suburbs Defence Rifle dub will meet at the range; Broadway, Miramar, to-morrow afternoon, to. fire the annual musketry course. Either short dr long rifles may be used but slings are not allowed. 1 Sights must be as issued with the rifle. Conditions for the match are as follow.:—Five rounds grouping at 100 yards; five rounds application at 200 yards; five rounds snap at 200 yards (four seconds for each shot); ten rounds rapid at 200 yards (45 seconds exposure); five rounds application at 500, yards. The highest possible score .is 120. To qualify 45 points are necessary. Members, registering 85 points or more are classified as marksmen. Shooting will commence at 1.30 p.m.
