TWO GOOD FILMS.

“Paths to Paradise” and ‘.Changing Husbands” are the star features at the New Princess Theatre to-night. In‘‘Paths to Paradise,” which oofeatures Betty Compson and Raymond Griffith, much of the action in the opening scenes of the story takes place in the “Bucket of Blood.” The den is named after a once famous dive in San Francisco, and the interior of the building' was modelled almost ex. actly as the original one before it was daided and torn down. “Paths to Paradise” was directed for Paramount by Clarence Badger, who made “New Lives for Old” and “Eve’s Secret.” It’s a rollicking comedy of two crooks who made everyone laugh all the way from, San Francisco to Hie Mexican border and back agaift. A rich young wife eager for a stage career and a famous stage star eager for a home, liik exactly alike. They secretly change places. The husband none the wiser, falls passionately in love with the actress. The wife loses her heart to another man. Complications P Comedy P Sehsations ? Leotrioe Joy, Victor Varooni, Za Su Pitta, and Raymond Griffith are in the oast of this comedy de luxe which is entitled ‘Changing Husbands.” The supporting bill and tho orchestral music are well up to standard, To-night and to-morrow only the wonderful athletic film, Rose v. Hahn, showing the New Zealander beating the American champion, is being shown by special request.
