LOSS THROUGH SHIPPING STRIKE Australian and N Z f’nhlo *«ssooiation LONDON, March 9. In the House of Commons, Sir F. Hall (C.) asked what loss was caused to Biitisn shipping by the recent strike in Australia through transfer of freight to, foreign bottoms; also whether the Government \ intended taking action against the organisers here. The President of the Board of Trade, Sir Philip Cunliffe-Lister, replied that the loss could not be estimated. The Government did not intend to take action against the promoters.
