Tho scheme for securing the site of St. Andrew’s Cathedral in connection with a plan for tho extension of tho Town lull and for city railway purposes has again been revived. The Premier (Mr J. T. Lang) has offered the Cathedral authorities a new site on Church Hill and £500,0(10 for tho erection of a new cathedral. Tho Cathedral authorities, who refused tho previous offer, are considering this.
