The Pahiatua County Council refuses to pay its quota of £l7O fixed some time ago to the Wellington committee for the Wairarapa cdurt at the exhibition on the ground that Pahiatua was not represented in the exhibits. It is alleged that the committee has not carried out the promise to arrange a good scheme of district illustration ana publicity. There have been several complaints from visitors at the poor Wairarapa representation at tho Exhibition, and that Pahiatua is not in the picture.
