MOTOR-BOAT RACE

PAREMATA CLUB. The Paremata Boating Club held a race for the motor boats during the last week-end for points for the Brady shield, which w’as won by Mr Shearer's Robert E. Lee (15min), with Mr Peterson's Rawene (Jmin) second, and Mr McKeever's Moki (7min) third. Other starters were Mr Stirling's Tui (7min), Mr Flanngan's Bubble (9min), and Mr E. O'Connor's Tatiana (sor). Owing to the heavy weather the sailing boats did not start. Next week-end the first-class boats will race' for points for the Brady shield; the second-class will, race for Mr E f O'Cbnnor's trophy and points for the Moorhouse cup, and the motor boats will race the second race for the Hansford foundation cup.
