HOTEL GUTTED BY FIRE. Per Press Association. . GISBORNE, January 27. The Timroto Hotel, a building of twenty rooms, situated 45 miles inland, was completely destroyed by fire last night, nothing being saved. The store adjoining had a narrow escape The building was insured by th* Cooler Estate for £ISOO in the South British Office. The licensee, Mr Bnbv, holds a policy of £6OO in the South British for the stock and furniture.
