WHEAT PRICES UNSETTLED. Per Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, January 26. Wheat prices are unsettled. Sale* have been reported, although not continued, of ?s f.o.b. being paid, whilst a sale of Tuscan at 6s 5d on trucks has been effected. Fowl wheat has been sold at 7s Id f.o.b. There is a slightly easier tone in the oats market. A Gartons are quoted at 4s 6d to 4s 9d and B*s 4s 5d to 4s 6d f.o.b.s.i. Peas are quoted for forward business at 6s 9d to 6s on trucks. \ Linseed is easier by 15s a ton and is now quoted at £l7 10s f.0.b.5.i., or about .£ls 5s on trucks. Potatoes for April and June delivery are slightly easier, and from £4> 6s to 10s on trucks is the ruling quotation. Many districts report that the crops are looking extremely well.
