SHORTER SKIRTS
? GREEK WOMEN DEFY POLICE WITH ELASTIC ATTACHMENT. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association ATHENS, January 25. Many women are ingeniously defying the recent decree against short skirts, by wearing skirts of the regulation length with an elastic attachment with which, when out of the policeman’s sight, they can shorten the skirts at will to the knees.
