FIRES IN CITY
TWO OUTBREAKS OVER WEEKEND ' The Fire brigade was called out twice yesterday, the first occasion at 11.19 a.m., when some broom arid flax was discovered to be alight in Toi Toi road ; Miramar. A more serious outbreak occurred at 12.44 p.m., when the brigade received a call to the Co-opera-tive Dairy Producers’ Freezing Co., Ltd.’s four-storied cool stores at Pipifea Point where the office was discovered to be well alight. Considerable damage was done to the office and contents before the outbreak was quelled.
