RIFFS GIVING UP FIGHT
A WHOLE TRIBE SURRENDERS WAR MAY NOT BE RESUMED. Australian and N.Z. Cablo Association PARIS, December 25. According to reports from Morocco, the Riffians, under Abd el Kiim, are crumbling rapidly, and numerous tribes are Unwilling- to resume operations against the French. Evidence of this ia found in the surrender of the whole of the Senhadjaz tribe, considered among the most devoted of Abd el Krim’s forces, to Colonel Nogues, who •received from the Sanhadjaz machineguns and hostages. Ouezzari reports state that, the Djebala tribe hua revolted 1 and imprisoned several jhiefs, whom Abd el Krim had appointed.
