SOCCER FOOTBALL
MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE MEET*
Mr W. Duncan presided at a meeting of the 'Wellington Football Association* held yesterday evening, in the Y.M.C.A. Mr F. ii. Smyth wrote forwarding hit resignation from the club. A motion of condolence was moved by the chairman to the relatives of the late Bon. C. H. Izard, who was patron of the association. The late Jlr Izard was an old representative player and a member of the Old Rovers' Club. The Welgasco Football Club received an invitation from the Wairarapa tootball Association to play a match at Carterton on September 23th. The local club is to be allowed to participate in the match.
Permission was granted the Caledonian Football Club to play a club match—A Team v. B Team—on September 26th« subject to a ground being available.
