MOUNT MORGAN FIRE
WATER MAKING HEADWAY. By Telegraph. — Press Assn.— Copyright BRISBANE, September 22. At present two streams of water are playing on the Mount Morgan fire. The conditions underground have somewhat improved. The mine manager and the inspector were enabled to go below to the 750 ft level, and were satisfied with the progress made. When a third water main is connected up it will take three weeks to flood the mine.
