TRAINING EMIGRANTS
BRITISH GOVERNMENT’S PLAN Australian and N.Z. Cable Assn. (Received September 22, 9.15 P*m.) - LONDON, September 22. The' Ministry of Labour an* \nounces that it will shortly open four training centres to turn young, unemployed men into ' bandy men. Two of the centres will he residential, somewhere in the country, where men from 19 to 25, On promising to migrate to" the ' Dominions, if suitable, will be • given six ' months’ 1 training 'in handling horses and stock, and in plough-' ing, milking, fencing, and building wooden houses. The* other two centres will be non-residen-tial, and will be situated at Birmingham and Newcastle.
