RUGBY TO-DAY
WELLINGTON v. CANTERBURY SENIOR AND JUNIOR GAMES. The Wellington representative fifteen, reorganised since the match against Southland, will meet a very strong Canterbury team at Athletic Park to-day. Canterbury have just returned from Hawke's Bay, where they gave the Banfurly Shield holders one of .the hardest games they have played. The teams for to-day are. as follow: Canterbury: D. C. Emergencies: Backs, Hickey, Tilyard, Bedell, Bramwell; forwards, O’Regan, Matheson/' Duncan (Berhampore), S. Shearer. Mr T. A. Fletcher has been appointed referee. The Wellington and Canterbury junior representatives will provide a curtainraiser to the big game. The annua] inter-collegiate tournament is to open this afternoon, when Wellington College and Nelson College will provide one game, and Christ's College and Wanganui Collegiate School the other. Owing to the state of the Wellington College grounds, the matches are to be played at Lyall Bay, both commencing at 2.45 p.m
