D’ANNUNZIO’S FALL
A POET’S LUCK ACCIDENT Before his accident some three year* ago, when D’Annunzio fell off a bal cony in his villa, he was considered a very sick man. To-day he has taken a new. lease of life, and explains it bv saying that when he half cracked bis head in two, the wound in healing performed l some wonderful cure whereby hia brain was roinvigorated and ho became mentally younger than he had been before the accident.. Dr Murri. of Bologna, was called, a’d admitted that this phenomenon had taken place, though he could not explain the reason of it. The result ia that, D’Annunzio has finished five hooka, the content's of which are at present only known to his publisher.
