The Winners gave a brilliant exposition, and were superior in both hack and forward combination.- The fast, heavy Auckland forwards—Batty, Flnlayron and Keene-* featured '■ the dribbling rushes, while the Auckland backs, with splendid combinetion, attacked Vigorously, but their efforts were kept down -largely by solid; taokllng.
