Armstrong, of the Te Kuiti branch of the Bank of , New Zealand, ha* been transferred to Masterton. The members of the Police Force in the Wairarapa presented Sergeant Sweensv, who ie on transfer to Hamilton, with a leather travelling-case, as a token ot esteem. .-.-At- the Caledonian Society's Ingleside the Chief of the society, Mr R. Cameron, was prdsented with a gold-mounted foUn-tain-pen, and Mrs Cameron 'with a gold clock from the members, and a beautiful bouquet from the ladled committee,
