PLAINTIFF SUCCEEDS. Reserved judgment was given by Mr Justice Ostler at Supreme Court yesterday in the case of Frank Mcssant against the New Zealand Farmers’ Co-operative Company of Canterbury, Ltd. The plaintiff had advanced the Bum of £4O to a Mrs Goodwin, who entered into certain covenants respecting land held by her in favour of Messant. The mortgage was not presented for registration until after the defendant company had executed a charging order. The land was sold, and the proceeds were being held by the sheriff at Blenheim.'
