FRENCH DISTRICT ELECTIONS. Reuter’s Telegram. PARIS, July 20. The election of the Councils-General have so for resulted in the Left bloc winning 47 seats. 43 from the Right and 4 from the Communists. The Ministers. M. Demonzie, M. Schmidt, and M. Durafour, were reelected. (Received July 21, 8.35 p.m.) The election results, practically complete, show that the Left parties gained 91 scats, of which the Centre lost 86. and the Communists 5. The total figures give the Right parties 574. the loft 722, and the Communists 2.
