SENTENCED FOR CRIME
CHRISTCHURCH CASES. Per Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, July 21. In the Supreme Court the following prisoners were sentenced :—; Robert Abercrombie Brown, theft of moneys from employer, three years’ hard labour, Matilda Ewing (41), married, theft of ah overcoat, allowed probation, provided she goes to the Army home. Eric James Richardson (16), burglary, three , years’ detention at the Borstal Institute.
