FOOTBALL AND BRAWL
FOUR MEN INJURED Football was discarded for fisticuffs during the progress of a match at Moore Park. Sydney, oil July 4th. For some time a crowd of men fought furiously, and when the brawl ceased it was found that four men had been badly hurt. R. Birmingham, William Sherwood. Joseph Moorehonse, and George Baker were the men who came off the worst. They were badly cut and lacerated about the head and face, and were taken to the Sydney Hospital. Teams which are great rivals were playing, and soon after play commonced more attention was paid to the man than to the ball. A general fight soon started and it lasted for about ten minutes
