Per Prow As' tHsHfin DUNEDIN, July 20. The shipping deadlock continues with no signs of a settlement. Calls for labour to discharge the Newcastle coal from the Kawatin failed to bring any response. The Wanaka went into dock at Fort Chalmers to. movements depend on the developments of the next few days. The Kamo was dispatched this evening for Oamaru where she will load for Napier and Gisborne, and the Matatua worked .at Port Chalmers without a hitch, Port Chalmers watersiders only being engaged in the work. The agents for the Kotare, acting on the Invercargill owners’ lnstr "f" tions, made a call to discharge her timber. One gang the AVanaka to get out her 120 tons of sugar. A shortage m this commodity is becoming apparent.
