KARAMEA v. MURCHISON TUNNICLIFFE IN FORM. Per l-ress Association . WESTPORT, July 18. The Karamea and Murchison suhUnions of the Buller district met in a Rugby match at Victoria Square, Westport, to-day. The game was played in perfect weather before a large gathering of spectators. The match ended in a draw—ll points all. For Karamea, Tunnicliffe, Winstnnley, and Ballard scored, Dean converting one try. Murchison’s trv-getters were Beard and S. Bormin, while W. Borkin kicked a penalty goal and converted a try. Tunnicliffe,: who is in great form, was the outstanding forward, playing as he always does, from whistle to whistle, clean, heady, and scientific football. Fowler and Bert Simpson, Karamea, also played conspicuously. Beard was the outstanding back for Murchison, and Wallace also shaped well. In the forwards, Jenkins played with great dash. Hawke’s Bav held the advantage in the backs and it was chiefly due to them that victory was gained.
