WARDER RUNS AMOK
BATTERS WIFE WITH HAMMER SUICIDE ENDS TRAGEDY. By Telegraph.—Press Assn. —Copyright. (Received July 19, 5.5 p.m.) SYDNEY. July 19. Arthur Moore, a warder at Callan Park Mental Hospital, ran amok at his home in Rozelle. and attacked, his wife with a hammer, severely injuring her head. Mrs Hawkless and: Stanley Heckenberg went to her assistance, and were also severely battered.. Moore then committed suicide by cutting his throat with a razor.
