ALLIANCE OF FIVE MILLIONS
RcuterV Telegram. (Received July 19, 5.5 p.m.) LONDON, July 18. A conference of trade unions in I-ondon approved a constitution for -the proposed alliance of miners, railwaymen, engineers and transporters, comprising more than 5,000,000 workers, for mutual aid, and more particularly for the support of tho miners in the present dispute. The matter was referred to the various unions, which will consult their members and then report to a further conference.
