ADVISORY TRUSTEES FOR THE LARGE ESTATES
A business . man may have obeyed an impulso to examine the claims of the Public Trustee to perform efficiently the duties of Executor and Trustee. He may by careful inquiry have satisfied himself that the long and wide experience ot the Office which has the State Guarantee . of fidelity offors the best possible undertaking that his family's welfare will be in safe hands after his death. ’ The nature of his assets may be such, however, as to make him desire, as an additional safeguard, that in administering his estate his Executor and Trustee should obtain the advice of some friend who has an intimate knowledge of his .affairs and in whose judgment ho has every confidence. The provision in the Public Trust Office Act permitting of the appointment of private advisory Trustees to act with the Public Trustee exactly meets such a state of affairs. In such ease the Trust property vests solely in the Public Trustee, and he has the sole management and administration, but he may consult the advisory Trustees, and they are at liberty to render him their advice.
