A DOUBLE WEDDING

A large congregation assembled on Wednesday afternoon at the Pihama Church to witness the double wedding of the daughters of Mr and Mrs H. Pollock, when Jessie Eileen was united in the holy bonds of matrimony to Edward Henry Keighley, and Rodeha (Dolly) to Daniel Mearns Holmes. The service was conducted by the Rev. H. A. Moore, and was fully choral. The ihureh was prettily decorated for the occasion by the friends of the brides. The brides wore ivory crepe-de-chine, with radium lace and pearl ornaments. The bridesmaids were Miss Keighley and Miss Nancy Pollock: the flowergirls, June Campbell and Joan Richards. The best men were Allen Campbell and Mr Charles Holmes.

. The guests assembled at the Pihama Hall, where the three-decked twin wedding cakes were the conspicuous feature of the breakfast. After the usual toasts had been duly honoured, Mr and Mrs Keighley left per motorcar en route for New Plymouth, and Mr and Mrs Holmes left per motor-car for Wellington.
