THEFTS FROM WAREHOUSE YOUNG MINER PLEADS GUILTY. Per Press Association. DUNEDIN, July 8 „ A young miner named David Louis Norman Michie, employed at the Kaita.ngn.ta, pleaded guilty before Mr J. S. Bartholomew, S.M., to a series of charges of breaking and entering and theft., the premises concerned being thoso of McGruer, Taylor and Co. The amount represented is £sl 17s, and but for the confession of the accused it was admitted that his connection with the thefts would have been difficult to establish. The accused was remanded for sentence, bail being fixed in a sum of £2OO and two sureties of £IOO on one charge, and on two other charges ill himself in £IOO on each.
