BOY SENT TO HOSPITAL DUE TO BICYCLE ACCIDENT. , Por Press Association. HAWERA, July 8. James Carlis, aged 134 years, son of Mr W. Carlis, of Awatuna, was admitted to hospital in an unconscious condition. He was found lying unconscious on the bridge across the Otakeho river. < The accident is believed to be due to his bicycle skidding and throwing the rider against the concrete railway bridge.
