OUR GOOD ROADS
Praise for the English roads was forthcoming from Sir John Luke, M.P., cx-Mayor of Wellington, when he talked with an interviewer on board the Atlienic, just before he sailed from Southampton for New’ Zealand on March 13th. Sir John and Lady Luke had been spending a holiday in England, and had motored over 5000 miles, their tour extending from Land’s End to John o’ Groats: during that journey their car tyre* did not sustain one single puncture.
