MR NORWOOD’S TRIBUTE. Mr Norwood a.t last night’s meeting, referring to the retirement of Mr Forsyth, said that he could speak of that gentleman only'in the highest possible terms. A man who had been in the council for six years was not to be lightly thought of as a prospective Mayor. But he believed that Mr Forsyth had taken the result like a good sport. He wished to acknowledge that the friend of the city, the mutual friend who had been referred to as the gaebetween, was Mr Ernest Kellow.
