SUDDEN DEATH
MAN EXPIRES AT KARORI. SUPPOSED HEART FAILURE. The sudden death occurred at Crea» wick Gully, Karori, yesterday, of a labourer named David Smith, a married man, aged 58, who expired from heart failure. The debased had been suffering from severe pains in the chest for tho past six weeks, and this he attributed to indigestion. He was not attended by a doctor, however. Yesterday, shortly before 1 p,m., lie again complained of pains, and drank a glass of hot water. Shortly after "hia wife discovered him in a state of collapse, and he expired before help could be summoned An inquest will be held.
