PERSONAL AND GENERAL. (“Times” Correspondent.) MASTERTON, March 20. At the annual meeting of the Red Star Football Club last night, the following officers were elected:—Patron, Mr T. Jordan; president, Mr D. J. Camerqn; vice-presidents, Messrs R. McKenzie, F. A. Jensen, P. McKenna, T. Caverhill, J. 4. Betts, N. Gandv, T. Collerton,' C. 0. Ross', W. and A. Cameron, L- Haxton, A. J. Shepherd, and F- C. Evans wwe added; delegates to Rugby Union, Messrs J. O. Pinhey, A. E. Freeman, and T. G. Vangioni; coaches, senior and junior left to management committee, thirds, P. Mur!pnyfourths, F. Wellington; fifths, J. O’Leary; club captain, J. O. Pinhe^; bon. secretary, T. C. Wickens; assistant, T. O’Brien; hon. treasurer, A. F. Freeman; general committee, T. G. Vangioni, D. J. Beer, V. Flaws, R. Shackleton, J. Wing, B. Smith, J. O. Pinhey, J. Harman; selection committees, each team to select its own ; delegate to Memorial Pnrk Board, T. G. Vangioni. It was decided to enter a team in each grade, and to open the season on March 2Sth. Mr and Mrs R. J. Hodgins, of Masterton, will leave next week for Melbourne, where they will -probably permanently reside. Miss A. A. Atkinson has resigned from the staff of the Masterton School. At the annual meeting of the Dalefield Football Club last night, the following officers were elected; . Patron, Mr W. S. Gallon; president): Mr A. O. Abbott; vioe-presidents, Messrs J. Scott, innr., J. Hodder, E. Wilkins, W, Say well, C. Ross, J. Standen, J. Gallon, G. Wilson, C. Fairbrother, f. Zillwood, T. Collerton, J. Minehan, W. Tioehurst, F. Groube. H. Cherry, W. G. Waterson, A. Playle, and F. Brough; secretary and treasurer, A. H. Knowles; delegate to W.R.TJ., W. Bannin; mpatch and maangement committee, captain, vice-captain, and coach. It was decided to hold the first practice on March 23th. It was also decided to enter a junior team in the championship.
