LOADED WITH DISEASE
ANIMALS STOLEN IN SYDNEY. FROM HOSPITAL LABORATORY. By Telegraph.—Press A6sn.—Copyright. SYDNEY, February 27. Hares and guinea pigs inoculated with the germs of highly infectious diseases were stolen from the laboratory of the (Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. The authorities express grave fears that the diseases may spread to the person or persons who committed the theft, as some of the diseases with which the animals were inoculated are the most freely contagious known. It is quite possible that many other persons may be infected.
